He is one of the students and Nagisa's close friends. He used to be a basketball player in their school's basketball club until he was assigned into class 3-E, making him kicked out from the club. He dreams to become a professional baseball player like his idol, Arita, and emulates his techniques to improve his own performance in baseball and is shown to very dedicated to it.
