Saki is a friend-less, lonely girl who's looked down upon by the popular girls. However, when she starts attending a new school and changes her looks, her life takes a turn for the worse. Saki Yoshida dies from a heroin overdose alone in the bathroom at the end of the manga after having a miscarriage. Before she dies, she has a dream where she's older, living a better life as a mom with one daughter.
