Her name, Re=L, stands for Project Revive Life. Her name was given to her by Rainer. She is a clone of her original self, Ilushia. While Ilushia has red hair, Re=L has blue hair. Her brother died when he attempted to convince Rainer to leave the organization. Unfortunately, Rainer, in return killed Shion and mortally wounded Ilushia. Glenn then saved Re=L and escaped with her, while Ilushia died.
