Marcille is kind, intelligent, principled, and loyal to her friends. However, she can also be very high-strung and has a difficult time dealing with things far outside her comfort zone (such as eating monsters). She has a lot of confidence in her magic ability due to her background, and can feel lonely when she's unable to help the party. She was one of the best students at the Magic Academy, where she joined the research program specializing in dungeon-making; this is where she met [Falin](https://anilist.co/character/130508/Thorden-Falin), and is still her closest friend to this day. Marcille can also be a bit naive at times, believing that friendships alone can keep a party together.
