Liao Diao He
He Liao Diao is the last known descendent of the Kyuumei Mountain Tribe, which was destroyed in the war with Yang Duanhe, king of the Qin mountains. As a result of this, she moved to Kokuhi village, a place of outlaws in which she eventually encounters and befriends Ying Zheng and Li Xin. She becomes an expert in blowing poisonous needles using a hollow bamboo stem acquired following the defeat of the assassin Muta by Xin. It is initially assumed by Xin, Zheng and Bi that Diao is a boy, however it is revealed early on that she is a girl after she is wounded in a skirmish with their pursuers. She remains with Xin after they part ways with Zheng and she cares for their home during some of Xin's early campaigns before heading to strategy academy, where she is taught by Shou Hei Kun. Her expertise result in her eventual appointment as lead strategist of the Hi Shin Unit and later the Hi Shin Army. One of the most notable displays of her strategic prowess was during the battle of Koku You Hill.
