Barnaby is forced to team up with Wild Tiger, a veteran hero who likes to do things "the old fashioned way" unlike Barnaby's view that this way is outdated. Due to their conflicting views, at times their partnership is very strained. Barnaby's past is shrouded in mystery, he lost his parents at a very early age and has been "lonely" ever since.
